Hello, I'm Anja, the illustrator and maker behind Druppel & co.

You might have found your way here as Anja Richards Art, this is the same little shop, just with a shiny new name that finally feels like me.

Druppel is Dutch for drop, or droplet. Fun fact: "drop" in Dutch can also mean liquorice, and as much as I love a sweet, I decided a candy probably wasn't the vibe for an art shop. Happily it's also my surname, Drop, and a nod to my Dutch family, which is the reason I really chose it.

I design everything you see here myself, from the very first sketch to the finished thing: colourful, joyful, and just a little bit silly illustrated goods. Prints, enamel pins, washi tape and stationery, all dreamed up at my desk in Scarborough, usually with a cat nearby.

Everything is made and packaged with a lot of care, using eco-friendly materials, because I want your happy mail to be kind to the planet as well as a treat to open.
